People are insistent on praying to gods and reading ancient story books with parables on how to live- without concrete proof that any of that exists. But in front of us all sits a story book world; a nature that performs real miracles day after day. A tangible force of awe, resilience, and beauty. Magic-like power not dissimilar to any God that may or may not have been invented to keep your conscience clean. So why is it so easy to answer to an invisible God, but not to care for and heed the God we live with every day? Why do you repent for the actions defined as sins by a book outdated by thousands of generations, but not repent for the toll you take on our planet? It baffles me, that people pray to a God they cannot see; but ignore the purity that they are raping from our life force. You can live on blind faith that your God will save you when this planet runs out. But it doesn't take blind faith to see that humans are greedy. And I'm fairly certain your God would consider that a sin. Mine sure does. Her name is Earth, and I'm not betting my salvation on Her willingness to let me borrow her corners for my selfish needs. It's called respect. Learn how to show up for our Home the same way you show up to your pulpit. No one can really say if they will both certainly matter in the long haul- but one certainly will. Go ahead, pray to your God. But when was the last time you prayed to your Mother? //: On God
