Brooklynn Bosworth is a yoga student and teacher. She found yoga at the early age of fourteen, with her personal practice spanning the distance of seven years now (2017). She began her Yoga Alliance certified teacher training at the recommendation of her teacher after her seventeenth birthday, and has been teaching for the last four years ever since (2017). Though Brooklynn is young, her training and experience as a yoga teacher is already expansive. Brooklynn found yoga via the healing process of emotional wounding paired with negative self image. Yoga taught Brooklynn there are healthy ways to take control of your life, and how to create a stable and positive relationship with her body. Today she is wildly thankful for the practice that has shown her so much love, patience, and personal growth. She firmly believes that yoga is the practice of learning to connect the inner self with the outer self, and creating a relationship between the emotional and the physical. Her classes are a mixture of intentional practice, self acceptance, and mindful movement sequenced in a way that leaves every kind of student feeling refreshed, challenged, and accomplished when they leave the mat. Brooklynn is certified to teach; Primary Series Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative Yogas. You can most frequently find her teaching her own variation of vinyasa that pulls from the Ashtanga practice, finished out with yin postures to release the body's fascia tissues for relaxation and balance.
In addition to her yogic identity, Brooklynn is a writer and author. Currently in the process of her first book, you can find her frequently sharing authentic musings in the form of short stories and poems stemming from real personal experience.
"I'm a writer, and I'm a teacher. It is in my soul- to share. I can't imagine a life in which I do not cut my heart wide open with the act of sharing it's inner workings. If this is what my heart beats for, who am I to deny myself that? If this is what I am made for- writing, teaching- I am going to own those qualities. Because they are mine. And they are the only real route to my individual happiness."
